Matching the Mission for Clean Water x $100,000

There’s something about the water that always brings me home. It’s where I’ve trained, raced, reflected, and healed. When I swam around Lake Wawasee, it wasn’t about breaking a record. It was about reminding myself why this water matters. It’s the heart of our community. That swim was the start of a bigger story... One that’s still being written.
The $100,000 Clean Water Goal
After the swim, I partnered with the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation (WACF) again to raise $100,000 for clean water. Every dollar donated goes directly toward protecting our lakes, restoring wetlands, and keeping our ecosystem healthy for the next generation.
The WACF is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which means your donation is tax-deductible.
But beyond that — it’s personal.
This is about protecting the same waters that have carried our canoes, cooled our summers, and connected us as neighbors and friends.
Double the Impact: The Match

Here’s the exciting part — for the rest of 2025 every donation is being matched, dollar for dollar. That means your $50 gift becomes $100 for clean water. Your $500 becomes $1,000. Every dollar counts... literally. This is our moment to make a huge difference for the waters that have given us so much.
Give Big, Get A Signed Book
To thank you for being part of this mission, anyone who donates $500 or more will receive a personally signed copy of my book, Beyond the Buoy.
This book was born from the same waters we’re protecting. It’s my story, but it’s also our story. A story about endurance, purpose, and coming back to what matters most.
When you give at this level, you’re not just donating — you’re joining me in carrying this message forward.

Why It Matters
Clean water doesn’t just happen. It takes awareness, action, and people who care enough to step up. That’s what this campaign is about — showing what’s possible when we come together.
The ripple effect starts with one action — one donor, one story, one lake.
We’ve already come so far, but I believe the best part of this journey is still ahead.
If you’ve been following Lap The Lake or Beyond the Buoy, you’ve seen how much this means to me. But this isn’t just my mission — it’s ours.
Whether you can give $10 or $1,000, it all makes an impact. Together, we can protect what connects us — the water.
Thank you for believing in this mission and for helping me push it forward. See you on the water.
